How to hide or turn off captions

Hide captions

Click the eye icon on the Captions lane in the timeline. The lane shows Hidden, and captions are off in the preview and in MP4 renders. Click the eye again to bring them back.

Turn captions off completely

Open Captions › Style and untick the audio under Caption speech from.

Only for one export

On the Export tab, set Captions to Separate .srt. The MP4 has no burned-in captions and you get a subtitle file to upload alongside it.

With chat
