How to undo and redo changes

Every change, from chat or by hand, can be undone.

Steps

• Click Undo (the curved arrow left of Cut at playhead above the timeline), or press Cmd+Z on Mac or Ctrl+Z on Windows.
• Click Redo, or press Shift+Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Y.

How it works

• A chat reply's edits undo together as one step, however many changes it made.
• Undo and redo are shared between chat and the timeline, in the order the changes happened.
• You can also ask in chat: "Undo that" or "Go back to the version before the music change."
• Undo is unavailable while a reply or an export is running.
