How to reduce background noise and clean up voices
Remove hum, hiss and room noise and even out voices.
Steps
- Ask in chat: "Reduce the background noise and clean up the voices."
- Novacut starts audio cleanup in the background. A progress bar shows in the chat.
- When the bar disappears, the cleaned audio is used in the preview and in exports. You can keep editing while it runs.
Tips
- Cleanup works on the original recording, so every use of that clip gets the cleaner sound.
- For level changes, ask: "Make the voices louder and the music quieter."
