How to adjust color and match clips
Correct exposure, contrast and white balance, and make shots look consistent.
Adjust a clip
- Open the Color tab.
- Choose the clip in the drop-down. Changes apply to every use of that clip in the edit.
- Drag Exposure, Contrast, Saturation, Vibrance, Temperature, Tint, Highlights and Shadows.
- Reset adjustments puts everything back.
Match clips
Get one shot looking right, then click Match clips to this one. Novacut evens out the other shots against it so the edit looks consistent.
Project look
Switch to Project look to adjust the whole edit at once.

- "The interview looks too blue. Warm it up."
- "Match all the shots to the outdoor one."
