Everything you upload goes into your media library, where you can reuse it in any project.

## Supported files

- **Video**: MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, AVI, MKV, WMV, FLV
- **Audio**: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC
- **Images**: PNG, JPEG, WebP

## Upload files

- **New project**: drop files onto the page or click **Browse**.
- **Existing project**: open the **Media** tab and click the upload button, or drop files onto the panel.

Keep the browser tab open until uploads reach 100%. Analysis then continues on our servers even if you close the tab.

## Find your files

1. Open the **Media** tab.
2. **This project** shows the clips in this edit. **All footage** shows your whole library.
3. Switch between list and grid views with the buttons next to the search box.
4. The search box matches **file names and what's in your shots**, so typing "white sofa" finds the shots that show one. You can also ask in chat, for example "Which shots show the white sofas?"
5. Use folders to keep libraries tidy.

## Add footage to the edit

- Drag a clip from the Media panel onto the timeline.
- Or ask in chat: "Add the drone shot of the beach after the intro."
