## From the timeline

1. Right-click a clip.
2. Under **Speed**, choose 25%, 50%, Normal, 200% or 400%, or click **Reverse**.
3. The clip shows its speed, and the edit gets longer or shorter to match.

## With chat

For anything more specific, ask:

- "Play the pool shot at the start in slow motion, half speed."
- "Speed up the walk to the car 3x."
- "Ramp into slow motion when he jumps, then back to normal."
- "Freeze on the last frame of the reveal for 2 seconds."

## Tips

- Use the **1x** menu under the preview to watch the whole edit at 0.5x to 2x. That only changes playback, not the video.
- Speed changes carry over to Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro exports.
