## Steps

1. Open the **Media** tab and upload your logo. A **PNG with a transparent background** looks best; JPEG and WebP also work.
2. In chat, describe where it goes. Name the file, the corner, the size and the opacity: "Add my Vista Homes logo (vista-homes-logo.png) as a small watermark in the bottom right corner for the whole video, at about 70% opacity."
3. Novacut places the logo on its own lane above the video.
4. Play it back to check the size and position.

## Adjust it

- "Make the logo a bit bigger and move it up."
- "Only show the logo for the last 5 seconds."
- "Lower the logo's opacity to 50%."
- "Remove the watermark."

## Other images

The same works for any picture: a product photo in a corner, a picture-in-picture with rounded corners, or a full-screen photo. "Show photo-2.jpg full screen for 3 seconds after the intro."

## Tips

- White logos read best on darker footage, and dark logos on lighter footage. If your logo disappears on bright shots, upload a version in a contrasting color.
- Premiere Pro EDL exports can't carry images; the export includes a note with the exact placement so you can add the logo there.
