## Add music from the library

1. Open the **Music** tab.
2. Filter by mood: Spooky, Romantic, Playful, Cinematic, Upbeat, Calm, Warm, Cool or Other.
3. Press play on a track to preview it.
4. Click **Apply to project**. The track goes on its own audio lane and plays under the whole edit.
5. Use **+ Add layer** to stack another track, for example ambience under music.

## Set the volume

Drag the lane volume slider on the music lane in the timeline. The speaker icon next to each lane opens its volume. Or ask: "Lower the music under speech."

## Use your own music

Upload an MP3, WAV, M4A or AAC file in the **Media** tab, then ask: "Use my-song.mp3 as quiet background music for the whole video." You can also drag it onto the timeline.

## Remove music

In the **Music** tab, choose **Original audio only**. Or ask: "Remove the background music."

- "Find upbeat music around 120 BPM that fits a fitness promo."
- "Cut the montage on the beat."
- "Fade the music out over the last 3 seconds."
